Cinema for the Stage
OMEN was created for Black Tiger Sex Machine’s 2025 world tour, a sci-fi narrative told entirely through 3D animation.
Designed to play on massive stages like Red Rocks and EDC Las Vegas, OMEN blends cinematic structure with music-driven rhythm. It’s not just visuals, it’s a short film disguised to play on stage.
Crafted by one director/animator, OMEN is a case study in focused, filmmaker-led production.
The Cast of a Universe
OMEN features 15 original characters, each designed for clarity, silhouette, and emotional presence.
Characters were costumed and staged like actors on a real set. We focused on iconic profiles, readable shapes, and rich textures. With a background in cinematography, our goal wasn’t stylization, it was believability.
Every character was designed with a role, a faction, or a ritual in mind. They feel like part of something larger, even if you only see them for a moment.
Light is the Story
Every shot in OMEN was lit, composed, and color-designed to tell story. Inspired by films like Blade Runner 2049 and Dune, we focused on atmosphere, exposure, and contrast to build the illusion of scale and emotion. WE hand-crafted every single elements you see on screen, from the smallest prop to the expansive landscapes, all expertly lit from a foundation of live-action cinematography.
Our process mirrors real-world filmmaking: lens tests, lighting builds, color arcs, all driven by mood and narrative rhythm with a priority set on story.

Designed for LED walls and festival-scale screens, OMEN will play live at venues like Red Rocks and EDC and continue to appear on BTSM’s global 2025/26 tour.
Every frame was created to hold up under the harshest playback conditions, intense lighting, massive scale, fast cuts, while still carrying story and clarity.
